Who We Are
The Association of Cricket Umpires Sri Lanka (ACUSL) is the nationally recognized professional body dedicated to the development, guidance, and advancement of cricket umpiring in Sri Lanka. ACUSL is the only association officially recognized by Sri Lanka Cricket for the development and representation of cricket umpires in the country.
Since its establishment, the association has played a significant role in promoting fair play, discipline, integrity, and professionalism in cricket officiating. Through training, mentorship, and continuous evaluation, ACUSL continues to support and develop cricket officials while working closely with schools, clubs, cricket associations, and governing bodies to maintain high standards in the game.

Our History
Founded in 1944, the Association of Cricket Umpires Sri Lanka (ACUSL) has a proud and distinguished history of serving the game of cricket through professional umpiring and officiating. Established with the vision of promoting fair play and maintaining the integrity of the game, ACUSL has grown to become the leading body for cricket umpires in Sri Lanka.
Over the decades, the association has played a vital role in developing qualified umpires, supporting domestic and national cricket, and contributing to the advancement of Sri Lankan cricket officiating at both local and international levels. Many respected umpires who represented Sri Lanka in international cricket have emerged through the guidance and development programs of ACUSL.
Today, ACUSL continues its legacy by nurturing the next generation of cricket officials while upholding the traditions, discipline, and professionalism that have defined the association for decades.
Our Heritage
Foundation
The Association of Cricket Umpires Sri Lanka was established to promote professionalism, discipline, and fair play in cricket officiating, laying the foundation for organized umpiring in Sri Lanka.
Formal Recognition
